Oswego State Athletics Hall of Fame
Setting the precedent for men's lacrosse at Oswego State was Mizer, as he became the first-ever All-American in the program's history, earning Honorable Mention in 1985 from the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA). He led the way for the defense, earning All-SUNYAC honors in three-straight years, starting in 1983. The defensemen continued to be a part of the Oswego Athletics family as he was an assistant coach for the men's lacrosse team during the late 80s.
