Over four years with the Lakers, Green competed in 116 games and contributed to 76 team victories. He was a key player during three consecutive NCAA tournaments (1987, 1988, 1989), helping lead the team to the SUNYAC Championship in 1989 and an NCAA Finalist position in 1987. Green ranks impressively in the Oswego records, holding #6 all-time in total points with 216, #2 in assists with 133, and #8 in goals with 83. His performance was recognized with SUNYAC, ECAC, and NCAA All-Star honors. Notably, he led the nation in total points in 1989, with a standout season tallying 29 goals and 51 assists for 80 points in 29 games, averaging 2.75 points per game. After graduating in 1990, Green continued his hockey career professionally in Sweden's 1st Division. His contributions to Oswego hockey were recognized with his induction into the Oswego Blue Line Club Hockey Hall of Fame in 2001.
